The Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments under the project Electronic Government and Knowledge Brokering Program for Consulting Services to Conduct a Port Rationalization Study for Trinidad and Tobago, for the Ministry of Planning and Sustainable Development.
The Central Tenders Board on behalf of the Ministry of Public Administration now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the services of a consulting firm to provide the Ministry of Planning and Sustainable Development with specialized technical knowledge and skill to conduct a Port Rationalization Study of the four (4) main port facilities in Trinidad and Tobago. This study is required to analyse the operational efficiency and organizational effectiveness of the ports, as well as, forecast potentially additional port services due to the expansion of the Panama Canal and other demand and logistical drivers. It is required that the consulting firm should possess the technical capacity and have extensive experience in maritime studies, international trade and logistics as well as specialized experience in the management of port facilities. The duration of the assignment is two (2) months

2) Competitive Bid Round 2013- Deep Water
The Minister of Energy and Energy Affairs has signalled the intent of the Ministry to offer acreage in the Shallow, Average and Deep Water acreage via a round of Competitive Bidding in April, 2013. A maximum of six offshore blocks will be offered – based mainly on your nomination.
In order to progress the offer, though nominations can be made at any time, the Ministry is requesting that you nominate the blocks which you would prefer to see offered. The nominations are held confidential and bestow no rights or obligation on either the Ministry or the company nominating the blocks.
